This Saturday, the regular party goers as well as the fashion conscious people of Kolkata can't afford to miss the poolside fashion show at Aqua, The Park as the designers like Alecca Carrano and Jatinn Kochhar will be showcasing their latest spring/ summer swimwear collection tonight.

Jatinn, who is known for his western outfits, loves being in the City of Joy. And so after showcasing his Spring/ Summer swimwear 2007 collection, he is back with his Spring/ Summer 2008 swimwear collection at Aqua, The Park. Jatinn says he has a black and white collection lined up for the ramp with innovative technology used for the clothes. "I have used new type of Lycra which looks like suede. The fabric is also moisture controlled, which makes it a pleasurable experience . And with my one pieces, you can team up suits and jeans to make it look hep," explains Jatinn. The designer has used lemon and ice blue to get the beach effect to his capri pants and pajamas.

For designer Alecca Carrano, who started of in New York and worked from there till last year, showcasing her collection for the Calcutta market is exciting. And so the designer is showcasing her beach wear collection at Aqua, at the Park tonight, 9 onwards.

"I'm sure Kolkatans are going to love it. My collection is called beach cover up, which will be in two categories. One will be in white with metallic and black and the other in bright colours, such as green, turquoise, fuchsia and oranges," says Alecca.

India from NY along with her architect husband is an adventure. "I specialise hi-end evening shawls but I also make ready-to-wear garments, which I'm already selling in Calcutta.
